Best mod ever (time for a new thread!)
Installed my hacked 3.6 cans on Friday. Now all I want to do is drive my car! Awesome mod and only $360 to boot!
I have been trying to get a sound clip, it's just not working...

I'd like to hear that because I'd like to do something similar myself at some point.

Sounds like a great mod. I've been considering options like buying new mufflers, headers, etc. For the money, the PSE hack seems awfully hard to beat...

Have tried a couple of recordings, they all sound poor. I guess I will just have to go to Colorado via Iowa, so you guys can hear it.
If one of you wants my 3.4 mufflers, I will actually get them hacked for you and only ask for my direct cost to hack and ship plus $100 for the mufflers.

Thanks Fergus. I'm still trying to decide what to do. I'd love to put a Fabspeed system on the C4S (headers, cats and mufflers), but I am a bit concerned about how loud it might be. I want it to be loud, but not crazy.
Now that we have moved to the mountains, the C4S won't be my DD in the winter. I'm planning to buy a winter/airport beater, so I won't hear the C4S all day. Also, I won't do much highway driving, so I'm not really concerned about droning. Decisions, decisions... |

Fergus, I might be interested in that. How hard is it for you to do?

I just put Fister stage 3 mufflers on my car. Plenty loud and a fantastic sound. Check out Darins webstite for some great sound clips. Fistermotorsports I think.
No cats and headers might be way to much for street use. I'm louder than most of the Harleys. |

No worries, Fergus. I just got my new wheels and am going to be working on that project right now anyway. If it's something I want to pursue in the future, now I know who to ask for questions.

I woudl really like to hear it.. I have been thinking about the mod on my 3.4's but I am scared it is going to sound like a freaking hacked pick up truck.. Some ppls idea of good sound doesnt match mine... I am looking for that exotic sports car sound... Ferrari-ish. Not Camaro-ish

Do I need to ask how loud a Fabspeed muffler delete kit makes the car?
