1200 Kg is in France the legal down limit for 944 turbo Cup (race cars) without optional equipments, magnesium specific pieces, fiberglass hood, no rear seats...
http://www.asarus.com/cup/reglement.shtml but stock weight is about 1400 kg... |

At autum, i wonder if i won't buid a specific engine mount like tial one, to relocate the turbo in order to fit it with out pipe mods. May be use a NA one with alloy melt or a basic steel one ? |

http://www.carfolio.com/specificatio...car/?car=33330
http://www.carfolio.com/specificatio...s/car/?car=891 If you have the tools and equipment to build a custom mount, i'd say go do it! (I would have but at the time i didn't have the workshop (was on lease ) you should look into a Nissan Quest alternator, which is smaller and it'll give you more space to mount the turbo lower if you do a custom mount. If you do a search a few threads will show up

Most 951s that I've ever seen weighed were up around the 1380-1430kg mark. Not sure what the 924 weighs but I'm sure it's at least 100kgs less than a 951. When I weighed mine back in 2010 with carbon bonnet, lighter wheels, much lighter exhaust, all stock headlights replaced by fixed f/g buckets, much lighter race seats and whatever else...it was 1320kgs. To be fair it had bigger brakes and probably a few other additions. Filipo, you should weigh your car, this will be the best way of obtaining your power to weight ratio.
This is a good reference list for p - w. I hope to get down to about 2.5 eventually. http://www.pcnsw.com.au/PorscheClubs...iclelistV3.pdf
