Default where shoudl I start to look rattle up front

I have a rattle in the front suspention. I thought it was coming from the drives side. But I can not reproduce it. Not sure if I cant beause the suspension has pressure on it. But is their any known weak spots up there that may be a possible good place to start to look??

Its a 99 with 117K

Any how in the heck do I get the front of this thing up off the gound.. I cant get a freaking jack under it and my ramps are too steep and they are the lowest angle I could find. Maybe some 2X10's on the ramps?

For the 964 you can jack at the rear jack points (with rear tires on wood) to get the front up enough to slide jack stand under there. When using ramps I drive up on scrap wood and it's just enough to slide the ramps under there. No idea on the noises...sorry.

Check your sway bar links....

I have a set three 2 x 12s screwed together to create ramps. They seem to work reasonably well.
