That is the most beautiful color I've ever seen. Stunning. Chuck it is the same color as yours isn't it?

I read on RL that 30 midnight blue GTS's were made which is a good thing. I want one in a 5spd some day...maybe not to far away either!

the intake looks good just match the cam covers to it.
IIRC the correct intake color is Zermatt silver similar to the painted wheels

Really? I didn't know that, but I've always used a champagne silver when powercoating my intakes and valve covers. I guess I was pretty close to the actual color then. Thank you.

Thanks guys. I agree the factory color is more silver, and the purist in me struggled with the decision.

This light almond has more "champagne" to it, which I personally like in my particular application - it's a little bit warmer tone which very nicely compliments the warmth of the red body color, IMO. I can always change it back.

Here's another shot of it:

After the beauty above, here's an ugly. Wish I had time to get back in the garage, hopefully this weekend.

Looks great now on to the valve covers.

The correct color is Zermatt silver however Zermatt goes on more silver and turns more champagne with heat and age.

The intakes have a chromate primer that shows through with a yellow hue as the silver ages. Makes it look a little like the champaign/goldish that many believe is the right color. My cam covers have a different primer under them, do they age to a different color than the intake with time and heat. Getting all the prep done correctly to use the Zermatt silver is tough. Most of the silvers require that you use a clearcoat to protect the silver, something the original finish didn't have. So clears need a little flattening to maintain the original finish quality, and don't go on thick at all. Just a fogged-on coat is enough. Most clears aren't ready for the heat of teh engine bay so they take on a pale yellow of their own-- another reason to go as light as possible if you use them.
