Recovering a 944 dashboard
I've never heard of anyone doing this with the dasboard in place. Looks like this guy had pretty good results though.

It didn't look that good to me. I could still see where the cracks were through the vinyl and where he heated it up to pull it around, he pulled out all the texture (I didn't care for the texture he chose either). I already know what that's going to look like in a couple of years.
He's already half way to getting the dash out, might as well pull it out and do the job right. |
