First Cayenne Post
OK, someone had to do it. I'll be first. I don't have a Cayenne yet, but have been looking at them to replace my Yukon.

Cool! A few more migrants to the new place.
Dennis, what part of TX were you from? Oh, BTW, 90+% of all Texas males return back to Texas after they leave. Are you a 10%er? Finally, to the OP, go for the Cayenne. They are great trucks |

I was born and raised in Dallas. Lived there most of my life. Got married there, kids were born there. Job took us to the Austin area in the mid '90s. Job once again moved us, this time to Indiana. I can't believe it was 10 years ago. I remember telling my wife "don't worry, we'll be back after a couple of years."
I hope to get back one day - I really miss Texas. I have lots of family and friends there, and I get back quite a bit to visit. |

I was raised in West Texas (Midland) and I have lived in Dallas for the last 10 years. I thought to myself, I'll be here a few years then on to Austin or San Antonio. Looks like I'm here for the long haul now (wife, kids and great P-car dealer).
Next time you come home to Big D, shoot me a note and we can hook up for a beer. |

I'll do that! Every time I am back in town I make sure to have a couple of Shiner Bocks and some Tex Mex.

We really like our Cayenne.
We've had a few minor problems like having to have the pano-roof motor replaced (warranty) and PCM replaced (warranty) , but overall we really dig it. I say buy one but maybe wait for PDK which should be around the corner in the Cayenne.

Another '06 Cayenne S owner migrating over here. Only real (but very minor) problem I've had with mine in 14 mos. of ownership is the Dash module has needed changing twice. Apparently they are having some problems with them. On mine it manifested itself as an in-operable trip reset (won't reset trip odometer). Not a big issue I know. If it fails again I'll let it slide until the CPO warranty is almost up.
