Cabrio Top Won't budge
I have been working ever so slowly (just ask my wife) on my 95 C2. Recently had my roof/top in a position about 6 " from closing, let it sit this way for about a month as I was working around the windscreen cowl. When I went to close the roof the latches activated went thru a cycle and stopped , but the top did not drop prior to this sequence, any thoughts?http://reutterwerk.com/forums/graemlins/banghead.gif

Could be a few things-all with money attached. The cables could be out of alignment or it could be one of the motors that close the top. As a short term fix you can disconnect the cables and activate it manually. Access is in the back seat area under two plastic covers-one on either side.

It is the Fall. A good time to inspect the top and mechanism. If you see something weird take a picture to show mechanic. Mine gets inspected twice a year. Fall and Spring and serviced when it needs, donor by mechanic.
