Dash Re-cover
Some time ago, I purchased a new leather dash cover from "Classic 9 Leather Shop". Upon receiving it, I was very pleased with the quality and color match. The instructions supplied were also first rate. For a number of reasons, including just being lazy, I never got around to starting the project. Now that I'm retired, there no longer is an excuse. I'm in the planing and research stages now, and waiting for some spring weather here in the Chicago area.
My garage shop is heated, however; space is limited because of too much equipment. I can just about scrape the 928 indoors. In retrospect, I should have sent the old dash in for a professional job, his prices are quite fair, but at the time I felt the packaging and shipping were difficult. |

Workin' on it

I did my dash. It looks great but it was hard to get right. Some lifting of leather, too. I resolved that having it done professionally would have been the better option even with the shipping hassles.
I suggest calling and seeing if you can't get it done with the leather you've got.

Also, Rob is not so far from you! Good for a overnight trip or a long day trip!
