Nice car! My white car had a burgundy interior, and I really liked it.
See if you can track down one of the Redline roll bars -- I've been really happy with mine and it stiffens the car substantially.

Doug, I was thinking of you and your dad's auction trips this week: http://reutterwerk.com/forums/showth...578#post291578

Ha yep that does look a bit familiar.
So today I brought the newest resident to the garage home, I will grab some pictures when the storms roll by. So far I am really happy with my purchase, it needs a little TLC and a few minor bits here and there, but overall it is a pretty clean S2 with a nice suspension, track tires and nice interior. OH and does anyone have a fender roller?

Pictures! By the way, I have a nice pair of 10 speaker rear quarters in burgundy if you think your track car needs them!

Here are some pictures from the FS thread...
180 on the Odo but being garage kept and parked with a sunshade has really saved this interior. The cluster is still really bright and the colors are still very vibrant. It also has a crack free dash! He also gave me a test pipe but it needs a turbo cat back so I picked up a new tip for one of my spares.

Here are some more (crappy) pics.
The car has some issues but I am really happy so far. Now I just need to get some tags on it!

Dude, the AFM on that thing is bigger than the motor in my Acura. Looks pretty badass. Which is going to be the primary track car?

Makes sense. The S2 will hold up better in auto-x too. The seats in the 951 would be really nice on the track though. What's going to happen with the '84 now?

Nice car. I've been wanting an S2, lately. Maybe a cab? Or maybe it's just this heat getting to me...

The 84 is going to get sold, it never ran, so if I cant get a little $ I will finish stripping it and scrap it.
As soon as I get the tb/wp and cam pads done I am going to start gathering parts for my turbo. For seats, if I can find a set of burgundy sport seats, or some used fixed backs that I can actually fit in...

Now 50% of the Porsches you own run!! That's a 17% increase over last week... Big numbers!
All joking aside, it's good to see you didn't buy a burgundy lemon. Let's get the routine maintenance finished on the S2 and then build you a new turbo motor.

Woot! Got it insured today so I can get tags tmrw.
Since my S2 will be my project for awhile and the S2 board is dead I am just going to update that car here! Today, I replaced a vacuum line that ran to the fuel evap system, installed a CPR front splitter, polished the exhaust tip, put a different strut brace on, deleted the rear "PORSCHE" light up panel, and started to clean the rear fender wells. This car is really dirty, but is slowly coming clean. It may be my AX/DE car but I want it to be close to presentable.
