The "Official" San Diego County GTG/Drive Forum
Maybe this is the way to do it? If everyone that is interested in San Diego happenings is subscribed to this one thread, and posts to it when there is an upcoming event, then we'll all be up to date. Sounds reasonable to me....

Well, I'm up for drives most Saturday mornings.....I was going to suggest something the last Saturday, but I just remembered: I've got tix for Coronado Speed Festival and a Porsche Corral parking pass for Saturday 9/27! Anyone else here going to the races that day?
I've only seen them from the water about 8 years ago....old Vettes and Cobras tearing down the runway. Hope it's as fun in person, and that it's similar to Monterey Historics!

I'll be there with my boy. I'm hoping I got in for the corral pass. I sent it yesterday and the deadline is Monday. One way or another I'll be there.

Cool, I'll look for both of you. I'm dragging my wife down, and a couple of friends from up north are s'posed to come down too.

Sorry, Ed, I think I'll be at Fontana tomorrow getting a ride in my friend's Race E36 M3. Then it's the auto-x on Sunday.
Drive safe and enjoy Palomar, however. |

Shoot, I've been out of town a bunch and my wife heads out Sunday, so I'm playing the good husband and hanging around tomorrow. This will probably be the first Saturday I've NOT been up Palomar in about a month. I've found that making the turn onto South Grade by 7:00am makes me the first one up at speed.
BUT.....I'm going to have the Rolex race (starts at 10:00am) on in the garage tomorrow, it's the big finale from UT, on til 5:00pm. If anyone wants to swing by Escondido, PM me or e-mail me: efhughes3 AT att dot net

Alrighty I rigged up a camera in the passenger seat to film. We'll see how that looks....I was hoping to see a red water pumper or targa in front of me, but hey, you can't have everything right?
