What does the reutter collective think a set of Cup 1 17" reps with tires is worth? I really dislike these wheels...

Likely less than those 16 valve badges!
Seriously, though, don't put something heavy on it if it's a track car, or you won't have fun. What are the tire widths on them now?

I am trying to get rid of the Cups 1s that are on the car.
He gave me a set of 16x8 D90's with 245 RA1's mounted up. Those will serve track duty along with my 16x8 turbo phonies.

That's perfect for a track set up.
With good tires, I would think you could get $500 for the cups. I would be tempted to try to sell them on Craigslist first, with a dramatic photo of the wheel on the car.

Just got back from my first real drive and wow, I am really impressed. Yea you can tell the power is down from my turbo car, but it more then makes up for it with the suspension, it is a very well set up car.
I am really happy!

...so YOU'RE the guy...
I was watching that FS thread. He posted it, I saw it, the price, and the fact that he was local, and thought, "Oooooh...." and went running around the house looking for things to hock to pay for it. Time would pass, I would forget about it, then the thread would pop up with a new lower price. Repeat "running around the house..." When he dropped it down to $3500 I figured I couldn't pass it up and decided to pull the money together to go talk to the guy. Then it sold... to you. Damn. Hope it works out to be a great buy. Wouldn't mind hearing more details on the overall condition of the car. Wondered what a $3500 S2 would actually get me... |

Honestly for a nice street car it needs some work. Mostly in the paint dept. It had a bad respray done on the front nose and has suffered dearly from rock chips. the header panel needs to be replaced and it needs a new bumper end cap. It also needs some exhaust work, TB/WP and chain pads, and a trans output seal.
For my purposes it was a great buy, at least so far. I want to get into AX and DE events and didn't want to beat my turbo car to death. I had planned on building my 84 NA up for the task but for 3500 I couldnt get it prepped to the point of this car and I would still have a 8v NA engine. So fiscally it made sense to buy this car. If you have any more questions feel free to ask, I am normally an open book.

I think that car (DVC's) started out as an NA before the evil transplant.
