heater controls?
The heater controls on my 95 act weird. The sliders go not regulate air flow at the foot or defroster, the defroster goes fast and slow with no apparent reason and sometimes flows air through the vents, and when I crank up the heat the fan comes on without moving the fan knob. Who knows, there may be more.
So, what's up with it and what is to be done?

CCU seems to be a bit silly. Some good checks are to check the operation of the bypass valves underhood above the blower unit and the footwell flaps inside the cabin on either side.
Also you can check to see your CCU is nice and clean - there is some info around the forums and the p-car/pcarworkshop sites for cleaning the ccu fan, knobs and switches. If you have a cab your ccu may have gotten a little dusty...

Thanks. I looked at p-car and the, err, "other" forum's search. Sounds like the CCU may be the likely suspect.
After I check all those things, what is the fix of a crazy CCU? Does it just need to be cleaned? A shot with electrical grease? Rebuilt?
