Cue the Jefferson's Theme.....
Movin' on up....
First, movin' out, off she goes, the finest Porsche I've ever owned. 2004 C4S Cab, flawless, 20k miles, absolutely a phenomenal ride I've enjoyed from day one: Next, movin' in! More details to follow: 2009 Turbo Cab, Silver/Dark Nat Grey full leather, 6sp, sport chrono, etc. Been in the garage all day (dealer) doing a few minor mods. Will post final pics later next week when done along with all the pertinent details. Many thanks for all of you who provided feedback, advice, opinion, etc. Special thanks: Chris Sanner (LikeMyStoppie) - the guy worked his nuts off for me, just trying to help me in my last ditch effort to secure an '09. Wasn't his sale, but the guy bent over backwards for me. Rob in Washington - also provided much needed input, advice and guidance with some good info on pricing and available vehicles. Sharky - I pestered the crap out of him, Cannga and Chris (TT Surg) for advice on pipes. More to come. Alan Baylis at Wheel Enhancement - a true professional. The guys knows the products, the pros and cons, and was a great ear to hear me out. CEC/TechArt (goodies to follow) Champion Motorsport - great guys to talk with who have some amazing cars, really helped me narrow the must have's from the want-to-haves. Rennsport One - super guys who know the cars, the goodies, and where to find it all. Porsche of Arlington - true professionals in every sense of the word (David Harris). Many others....will compose a full detailed story next week. Exhausted now. Thanks. |

Thanks Jake.
Tubi Exhaust TechArt Twin Tips Champion RF67's w/Michelin PS2 All lower trim color matched (this was a bitch) Arctic Silver Metallic rear seat coat hooks from BumperPlugs.com Stunning jewel quality silver hood crest from BumperPlugs.com K40 remote invisible front/rear/etc w/laser defusers (very slick install, just two tiny blue LEDs below instrument cluster) Working on some other minor painted trim parts, nothing too gaudy, just a few bits Working on a custom wheel cap that should be done within the next week or two. That will finish off the exterior. Considering Bilstein Damptronics to lower it just a bit, but am scraping when exiting my drive, so not yet sure on that one. Will likely leave suspension stock for another couple months then decide. No need for anything else just yet. |
