Probably not worth the hassle if you are prepared supply the harness, though I've made looms in the past and it's not rocket science to follow a decent wiring diagram. So what can the product do for $1300 compared to say Rogue or Vitesse ?

I'm confused by what you're saying - where did I mention injectors in that price?
What do you mean by sorting out the intake? Do you mean turbo intake pipe? The idea here is to learn how to program the system yourself. It's not like this is black magic. I can provide a detailed instructional video that will walk you through every option in the software. At the end of the day, each individual is going to see value differently. From a perspective of functionality and cost, there isn't anything in the 951 market that would compare to a DIY Atom kit. With existing products available, add up what it would cost to provide: Closed loop electronic boost control (gear based / TPS based) Closed loop Lambda (AutoTune) 21 x 21 Ignition / Fuel Table control Wasted Spark Ignition Group fire injection Datalogging Output features like - high / low boost switch, dual map switch BRAND NEW wiring harness Now you can factor in the price of new injectors if they are needed. I would enjoy seeing what sort of cost you would come up with given this feature list.

OK let me say I have no hidden agenda or loyalties here, I'm not trying sell anything or undermine anyone. I asked for info relating to 944 standalone and you posted a link to the manufacturer.

Let's face the facts here - this is NOT a product intended to be a "install and go". While my package is fully plug & play, there will be fine tuning required to optimize the fuel / timing / boost maps. The ecu I provide will come with a base map already loaded which will allow you to start and drive the car. If a $95 detailed instructional video to help you navigate & manipulate the software isn't worth it to you then it's clear that you are intending for a local dyno shop to do the final programming on your car. I have no control on what this will cost, but I will tell you that the final programming can be accomplished by the end user at a fraction of the cost. You just have to figure out whether you are interested in this style product.
I posted the link to the manufacturer to allow you, the interested party, the opportunity to educate yourself on the functional capability. This would hopefully allow you to recognize that there are multiple features that bundled into one unit compared to needing separate devices when using a piggyback approach with the DME. Since you mention cost, this is an easy way to calculate the value in what the move to a standalone represents.
