(PNCA news) It's official: it's going to be a staring contest between dealers...
Just got back from a meeting with our rep and a conference call with the VP of PCNA. No promotions until August.

Personnel promotions? Or incentives for buyers to buy a few inventoried cars? If incentives, they damn well better inform dealers that buyers are going to know there are incentives out there, and they should lay it all on the table, cards up, or they will be eating leftover inventory for months longer. Stoppie knows exactly what I'm talking about.

But what you all need to realize (and I know you both do) that its NOT a given to each dealer. A dealer must earn said promotion. What you're asking is for the dealership you're talking to be forthcoming in that they don't qualify for the promotion. With cars really thinning out, if you're stuck on a certain color combo, you may have no chioce but to buy from that dealer. But whether or not they'll fess up about 'if they qualify' is entirely different conversation. |
