Default Secondary Bypass (G-Pipe) Differences

I missed out on buying a used secondary muffler bypass (g-pipe) from a RL member recently so I went seraching for one to buy. Prices on these are all over the board. Anyway, while looking on the FVD website I noticed they offer two versions - short and long g-pipes.

You can view HERE

Can anyone tell me the differences between these? Sound differences? model differences?

I have never seen a long one like that before although I do kind of like how you mount it to the original muffler mounts. I have the short one though and when on my car I had no issues. The only difference I would see is maybe a different sound. Neither one is going to really give you much of a performance gain. If I was in the market, I would call FVD and see what they had to say.

Ritchie.

Stephen,

I have a new g-pipe(short), if you're interested.

I have a lightly used long secondary bypass. It does connect to where the original muffler goes. Combined with the primary bypass it is a little loud. It like to trade for a cat bypass (I'd even throw in my OEM cat). I'm looking to run a cat bypass, primary bypass and OEM secondary. Anyone??

Thanks!!
