The only thing that would prevent me from getting the 19" wheels would be the NYC roads... too afraid I'd bend them or blow a tire with the lower profiles.

You know, after looking at all these photos, 996's are really beautiful Porsches. In some ways, I like the style more than the 997's. They are truly wonderful, classic machines. All in all, we're a pretty fortunate bunch.

Agreed - I went 19s and I do love the look and feel on a good road, but cringe when I drive around NYC. I can feel the bumps all the way up my spine into my back teeth , and I only go from the Holland tunnel to Wall street.
