Default Lots of new info about the 09 997 coming out...

PDK, PTM, new motor, launch control and more. No intermediate shaft to break and destroy the motor. And unlike the GTR, the 911 will over ride launch control after ~12 launches until things cool off.

Sounds like the 09 model will be a marked impovement over previous years. I look forward to getting to see one. Anyone have one on order yet?

I drove one with PDK on the track Monday. It was awesome. The transmission is amazing, the suspension options are perfect. I'm thinking about selling my house and living in the car...

I didn't think the suspension was radically different from generation 997, which admittedly is amazing.

Can't wait to see one in the wild - I was able to pick up the Excellence that looks at the new 997. The wife was even drooling over it. She's actually getting rather good at looking at a photo and ID-ing if it's the '09 or not.

It's not PDK different; but it's definately smoothed out the rough stuff while not losing the stiffness. front end bobble is gone too. Thank gawd. lol

That's funny, I have never experienced front end bobble . . . Suspension on mine has been flawless for intended purposes (and occasional sins I would never admit in public).
