Question 993 exhaust

I just can't stop spending money on this car of mine so with that in mind I'm thinking about the fact that my car needs to make better exhaust music.

I've thought about Robin's RSR muffler mod and seen discussions about others but after searching RL and Pelican I can't seem to find threads (think they used to be there) with actual sound clips. I know that mine is going to sound different than all of them because it's supercharged but looking to make it LOUDER. Looking for more of a raspy, mechanical sound.

Anybody have any sound clips or links to threads with same. The old links I have all seem to have been busted.

TIA

sure, to hear Darin's work, you can hit the web site in my sig below or just go to youtube and search on "fister 993 exhaust".

You should get GREAT sound out of a supercharged engine.
Turbos suck the sound out but a supercharger should sound fantastic. More air forced through... excellent.

I need to hear II and III side by side in the same environment to make a call.

I have "RS" muffs from the PO, but the PN clearly tells me mine are not RS muffs but stock muffs...

I'm thinking he had them made to "RSR". Time to send him an email.

Love to hear an audio clip if possible, especially if it's an RSR.

993 3.8RS w/ stock mufflers & Fabspeed cat bypass, this is the config I use the most, it always gets positive ccomments at track days

DACH bypass pipes with DACH-R modified factory mufflers (pipes with cats would be mildly quieter)

What he (Chris) said. That's exactly what I have, Xpipes without the cats and Chris's mufflers. Even installed at his place !

Tech at the Raleigh Porsche store after driving my car said it's the best sounding 993 he's ever driven.

Well after a winter of playing sound clips I went for Darin's Fister Stage 3 mufflers. Had them installed last Wednesday and it's just the sound I was looking for. Rather loud and crackely. Letting the supercharger breathe a little better as well I believe. But the sound is intoxicating. I'm happy, the wife says pretty noisy, will wake the dead Sounds like a Porsche should! Good work Darin and thanks....a pleasure doing business with you.

Dang it, you guys, you are a bad influence on me! Now I want one of these exhausts to replace my perfectly fine one already on there. I better hide the credit cards from myself.
