Well, the ESCO jackstands I ordered came in the other day. They are the flat top jacks and I intend on placing them under the factory jack points.

I first pulled the front tires on a 2X6 to get the front end up enough to fit ramps under there. Then I drove up the ramp most of the way to get things up in the air a bit (the stands, even at their lowest settings are pretty high).

From there, I broke the lug nuts loose. Then I used a hydraulic jack (and a hockey puck) at the rear jack points to get one front high enough to slide a jack stand under. While the rear tire was in the air, I placed the 2X6 used previously in the front under the rear tire. I placed a jack stand under the front jack point and released the jack. I repeated the process on the other side.

Now that the front was up, it was time to do the back. The 2X6s under the rear tires provided barely enough space for me to get under the car to remove the rear engine tray. Once this was removed though, I put the jack under the engine and again used the hockey puck to disperse the load as I jacked it up. I was barely able to get the rear up high enough. I will lay a board down under the jack next time to gain just a little more height. I placed the jack stands under the rear jack points and released the jack.

The car is now resting entirely on jacks stands. I will take picks at some point and will add later.

Now that it is up, I plan to change the transmission fluid, clean the wheel wells, and refinish the Cups.

Well, I never got around to taking pictures. I don't know how people document things but I'm sure glad they do.

Things I got around to:

SS brake lines
New pads
Brake/Clutch bleed
Transmission fluid change
Cups I's refinished
Tweaked a slight frown up front

I'm thinking about stealing some of the graphics from the car below but I'm not sure how it will look on a 964 (color scheme would be reversed).
