Appraisal
I am trying to get my 87 930 insured for more than your average 930 and the insurance co. wants an appraisal. The problem is I live in NW Montana and there is no one here to appraise a Porsche here.
Anyone have any ideas? My 930 has been converted to EFI and complete engine rebuild. Many other upgrades too. Just the engine work and EFI conversion would cost about $33,000 at Imagine auto. Thanks, Randy |

I'd check recent issues of Excellence, Pano, evil bay and other sources to get a rough estimate the present that along with receipts for the additional work you have done and present that. Dazzle them with facts. Makes um crazy. Good luck.
And welcome

If I read that PCA thing correctly, they don't do valuations on 930s...

I was able to have a local place give me an appraisal for State Farm no issues. My car isnt a 930 though. Not sure if that helps.
