Anyone fitted CEP fuel rail ?
Hey ppls
I bought the CEP fuel rail off XtaC last week. It is a work of art but not sure about what I will need to fit it. I am using factory FPR and I have Rennbay deluxe fuel lines. I am guessing I will need some adapters but not sure where to start. Does anyone have a list of whats needed for a standard set up ? I gathered it is a good idea to get the FI o ring set from rennbay. Does anyone have pics of one fitted ? any info would be appreciated peace Cyberpunky |

It was an option to have the "saddle adapter" to fit the factory FPR. I'm guessing the one you bought doesn't have that.
http://reutterwerk.com/forums/showth...=cep+fuel+rail Might still be able to get one from Dave.

correct, it is just the rail, no fuel line fittings etc.
Will have to email Dave am guessing. I am not planning to change FPR from stock. |

I also purchased a used CEP rail and contacted Dave at CEP for the rest of the parts ( fuel lines, adjustable FPR, and damper). I would highly recommend buying a size 10mm universal joint/socket for easier installation of the rail mounts.

Cheers Shorty. I have PMed Dave and emailed him but no response so far.
Unfortunately all the pics of fitted rails no longer show and I haven't been able to find a pick anywhere |

If you emailed dave, he usually takes a bit to reply. He's a busy man. You'll get a reply though.

I found some pics via google of Techno Duck's install so at least I know how it all works now, in regards to fuel lines etc. I have link in that RL thread to a saddle adapter for OEM FPR, so will only need one line from that to the rail and either an adaptor for the fuel line I have now or a replacement with AN fittings, as the other fuel line hooks up to FPR, it can stay as is.
Unfortunately Dave isn't getting back to me(anymore), as I was asked a few stupid questions, due to not being able to see a pic anywhere of one installed and having no instructions. I am a little worried though as although I can now get suitable fuel lines etc, he mentioned early ones needed an update and I have a feeling this one is an early one, as it was part of first group buy here. I sent him pics so he could identify what rail it was but now he is P.Oed with me wasting his time, am not sure if I need anything updated, which is disappointing. Oh well at least I am a lot closer to being able to fit it. Have new fuel inj seals on the way from Travis at rennbay. peace Cyberpunky |
