The posting has been deleted so I can't give you much of an opinion on that particular car.
But in general on 964's, you want to get a PPI with a compression and leakdown check. If it passes that, then the you want to check on the usual problem items - DMF, Head gaskets, distributor vent kit and belt. The good news is that most of these items have been addressed on these cars in most cases making them solid, reliable, fun cars. Good luck.
