Did you see any debris coming out of the oil cooler at all when you flushed it? The cooler is the first part the oil hits after the oil filter. The cooler is full of small convoluted channels inside, it may trap some debris *IF* the filter bypass valve was tripped and let in larger debris. I think it's a wise decision to use a new cooler.

Never flushed it. Instead just bought a new one.
Project is on hold until I finish a project on a 928 in a few weeks. Then back to assembly and deciding what to replace the failing hybrid IMS bearing. I'll post pictures of it a little later.
