I was following your post in developing the shift spring with Colin. I have an 84 that has an 85 transmission with a broken spring. There have been some concerns raised over on Rennlist about using essentially an S4 ramp profile on an S3 transmission since our cars have the early preselector lever (different roller design). Have you been happy with the performance of Colin's spring? Any issues? the original springs are NLA as you may know, so right now Colin's replacement is the only option.
